AIT Now in Its Fourth-Generation Meeting Customer Needs
AIT-4 drives and data media, announced by Sony in September 2004, are now available through AIT Forum partners and their reseller channels. AIT-4 offers 200 GB of native storage capacity (520GB with 2.6:1 compression) and a native data transfer rate of 24MB/second. Sony is the only tape storage company to ship a total of four generations of drives and media within the same format simultaneously.

When to Move from DDS to AIT?
